The ashram is situated in the village of Dharampur on a 250 acre plot surrounded by a range of low hills and sparce vegetation. The entire site has a very interesting topography and as a result makes the landscape proposal extremely challenging with respect to the sustainability and natural resource management of the site.

The project involves thorough research into the physiographic aspects of the site owing to its location and vegetation pattern. The landscape proposal takes into consideration the natural process of the region at macro level as well as at the micro level of the site for the ashram and the ancillary buildings.
